Senior Researcher

Agamani (Mani) is a Senior Researcher, who helps senior executives within GTM Canada to partner with Northern businesses, local municipalities, and First Nation’s communities to help grow their personal and professional brands, enable sustained economic growth, and conduct impactful policy evaluation. After spending over five years working in positions such as Senior Economic Analyst, Modelling Analyst and Business Analyst in various departments such as Policy Analysis, Modelling, and First Nations within Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMCH), Agamani has an expert understanding of creating and testing models for economic policy analysis and development. She also has deep understanding of implementing research strategies to governmental policy analysis. Finally, she believes in the importance of simple solutions to complex problems, and excellent client service.

Agamani holds a BComm from Alberta School of Business, MA in Economics and Finance from University of Alberta, and is now currently pursuing her PhD in Economics at McGill University with a speciality in Development Economics and Political Economy. Her research focuses on the importance of quality institutions for economic growth, as well randomized control trials for economic development policies for minority groups across the world.  In her free time, she enjoys volunteering for local organizations, learning new languages and exploring nature.

Visual communication professional with almost a decade’s experience of developing visual identity for various clients from around the world, Peter R Gomes started early as a designer for his college. From there he went on to win the India Fest that helped him stabilise his craft as a creative professional.

Whilst working with Major National and international brands, developing their visual identity and visual marketing strategy, he has also been teaching Communication Design to students from all around world. Has been a guest faculty with major design institutes, worked with various agencies and is responsible for the visual identity for many corporate firms, non-profit organisations and government agencies as well. He has made valuable contribution in the visual marketing sector and the design education sector that has travelled beyond borders.
